OLOT – Lakeside 2012

Yesterday I was able to photograph a group of Lakeside students as they were about to leave for the annual OLOT dance at Fremont Abbey. They assembled at the home of Roger and Nancy Lewis, parents of Lewis and the above picture was taken on the steps of their lovely home. Here are a couple more images.

Kids at Weddings

I recently was photographing a wedding in Phoenix AZ and was delighted to get the chance to photograph some younger members of the wedding. I especially love the difference between the boys and girls. the boys had to be bribed with the offer of some Pez for walking down the aisle. the flower girl was delighted to enjoy her time in the spotlight passing out roses as she ambled down the runway, I mean aisle.

Bella Belly Baby Harper Turns Two

couple of times I

Two years ago I photographed the baby belly of Molly when she was 9 months pregnant on a Sunday afternoon. Then on tuesday the bella baby Harper came popped out of the belly and into the world. Although I have photographed her a couple of times I wanted to post an update now that she just turned 2. Harper loves playing “Where’s the baby” with me. What a sweet child.

Family Portrait of the Campbell Family

Gasworks Park was where I met up with the Greg Campbell family for a portrait secession. It is a great location and has a great variety of different backdrops to choose from including this industrial look to the skyline over LAke Union to the huge green hill.

Govender Family Pictures

On Saturday, I had the pleasure of meeting and photographing the Govender Family on the occasion of Nana’s 60th birthday. They had a celebration at the Four Seasons Hotel. Here a few of my favorites. This is a link to a web gallery with all of their pictures.

Children’s Theatre | Taproot Theatre Summer Camp Production

The Taproot Theatre acting studio put on a production of “Law & Order, Fairy Tale Unit” yesterday, the culmination of a week long summer camp for children interesting in acting. Claire was interested and took part mainly as the character Pinochio, who could not tell a lie without it hurting her nose. Below the cast takes a bow at the end of the performance. Thanks to Sara Willy, Education Director at Taproot Theatre Company For more pictures see Children’s Theatre Pictures gallery.

Motorcycle Girl Portrait of Claire on a Ducati

Just got this picture from my good friend Bruce Dugdale at Glaziers Camera. He took this of Claire when they had a photo festival and fair. I brought CLaire and she was excited at first but was a little disappointed when she learned there were no rides. The Ducati made her happy though and she donned an appropriate expression.

Family Portrait of Tegan At 9 Months

Saturday was a beautiful day and I went around to photograph Tegan and her family. I had first met her a couple of days ago when Margo, her mom, and I were at a dinner aparty with an old friend who was back in Seattle for a short visit. We had a grand reunion and so it came to pass that I was asked to come and do some pictures of Tegan who is now 9 months old. What a sweetheart. Tegan in Welsh means pretty and so she is. Here are some of my favorite shots from the portrait session. Here is a link to the web gallery of all of the family pictures.
